# DMS Configuration Center
DMS Configuration Center (ConfigureDMS.exe) is the administration tool for DMSforLegal and Epona365. Use it to prepare the DMSforLegal lists in SharePoint, maintain them, configure SharePoint search, and manage the settings that the DMSforLegal client applications and the Epona365 apps read at startup.
# Getting started
- Installation and versions: download, upgrade and roll back to a previous version.
- Configuration: validate and fix the DMSforLegal lists, content types and columns.
- Maintenance: back up and restore lists, check matters and other maintenance tasks.
- Search: managed property mappings and search result types.
- Command line: run
validateandapplyunattended.
# Settings
The Settings tab defines the behavior of the DMSforLegal client applications and apps. Each settings category has its own page, and each setting on that page has a heading with the exact label from the application.
