Information protection

Applies a default Information Protection sensitivity label when content is uploaded with DMSforLegal. The label GUID is configured per file extension, so no label lookup is needed.

Enable default sensitivity labels

Switches default sensitivity labels on or off. Default: off.

File extensions

The default label per file extension.

Property	Description
File extension	The file extension, for example docx. Stored in lower case, without a leading dot.
Label id	The GUID of the sensitivity label. Use ... to pick a label from the tenant.

To pick a label with ..., you must sign in with Certificate authentication, and the app needs the Microsoft Graph permission InformationProtectionPolicy.Read.All. Otherwise, enter the label GUID manually.
