Planners (Tasks)

A matter with a linked Microsoft 365 group and at least one Planner plan shows a Tasks folder in the matter view. Opening it embeds that plan's Microsoft Planner board directly in Epona365 Web.

Requirements

• The matter is linked to an M365 group.
• That group has at least one Planner plan — or the practice's Matters list has a Planner URL configured for the matter (see Configuration).
• Permissions: Microsoft Graph Group.Read.All and Sites.ReadWrite.All (Delegated) — see Permissions Reference.

Usage

1. Open a matter.
2. Select the Tasks folder.
3. The matter's Planner plan opens full-screen, embedded in the app.

If no plan can be resolved for the matter, the folder shows "No planner available" instead.

Configuration

By default, Epona365 auto-discovers the oldest Planner plan belonging to the matter's linked M365 group — no configuration is required.

To point a matter at a specific plan instead of relying on auto-discovery, configure a managed property/column on the Matters list holding a direct Planner URL, and set its name as plannerUrlColumnName in the DMS configuration. When that column has a value for a matter, it is used directly instead of auto-discovery.
